1916- She entered Ogontz School in Pennsylvania.
1918- She became a nurse’s aid at Spadina Military Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
1919- She enrolled as a pre-medical student at Columbia University.
1920- Amelia’s first plane ride.
1921- Amelia took her first flying lesson.
1922- Amelia bought her first airplane.
1926-Amelia became a social worker at Denison House in Boston.
1930- Amelia set the top woman’s Flying speed record at 180 mph.
1931- Amelia married George Putman.
1935- Amelia a career consultant at Purdue University.
1937- Amelia attempted her around-the-world flight which ended in a tragic death.
